I've done a bit of much needed housekeeping on my blog. The changes are as follows...
- I've added a comments RSS feed. The link is in the sidebar to the right, just below the blog feed. Movable Type's template system is rather nice for authoring this kind of thing easily. Credit to Emiliano Bruni who posted up some code to do the job.
- I've brightened up the look - might do this again soon as I'm not totally in love with it.
- After much moaning, I've fixed the name of one of my regular commenters!

I'm afraid that's a negative ;) Does it stay this way for everyone who uses OpenID? It could be my provider... then again have tried this site with two providers and have the same issue.

It created another user with the name rant.blackapache.net...
WTF???
Looks like it's by design in the Movable Type OpenID implementation... It doesn't even try to get the name from the OpenID URL in case it clashes with a user that's registered another way. Very crap... There might be a plugin out there that does it properly though.
OK. I've updated to the latest RC of Movable Type. There are a few OpenID related things in the changelog, so lets see whether it fixes the problem or not.
