I gave blood last night for the second time in my life. It all went well, the test droplet sank like a stone (meaning I've got plenty of iron in my blood), so there's now another bag of B negative available to the NHS.
My left arm was hurting like hell last night which wasn't good. Also, I felt really rubbish this morning. I just could not get out of bed and ended up oversleeping by three hours. I ended up taking the morning off work because I didn't feel like I was safe to drive.
Feeling a lot better now though, and I hope it benefits someone.
Blood, Blood, Glorious Blood
